The branch was seismically retrofitted so that it could be twice its original size with a community meeting room available to use programs or special events in the story room after being reopened on June 15, 1996. It has been renamed as Him Mark Lai Branch Library on November 4, 2010.

The Cable Car Museum is a nonprofit educational facility that was established in 1974. The museum deck overlooks large engines and winding wheels pulling cables, while downstairs you'll find an observation area where visitors can view the building's channel entrance into town through street-level windows. The museum houses three antique cable cars from the 1870s and is a must-see for any history buff. Visitors can see detailed models of various mechanical devices such as grips or brake mechanisms that are on display with historic photographs to help bring alive this long-forgotten pastime. The museum store offers an extensive variety of memorabilia, books, and clothing for those who are interested in San Francisco's cable cars. The beginning of The Ministry of the Chinese Church began on January 1, 1894. Mrs. Naomi Sutton was sent as a missionary to San Francisco’s Chinatown and she started her ministry by teaching English and caring for sick children in her home which is where our first church store at Jackson Street corner Stockton St was rented until 1900 when it became too small so they built bigger space just up. They believe in one living God, maker of heaven and earth. He is triune and eternal, existing as three persons, The Father (who gave us life), His Son Jesus who died so we could be redeemed by the grace and the Holy Spirit. A force that brings about redemption through faithfulness or generosity.

The First Chinese Baptist Church, San Francisco is a multigenerational bilingual-bicultural church. They are called to be transformed by God's grace in Jesus Christ so that you can joyfully commit yourselves through worshiping Him and witnessing His love among us as well as being engaged with others on behalf of his kingdom work here on earth. American Baptists believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God. Willie Woo Woo Wong Playground is located at 830 Sacramento Street between Waverly Place and Pagoda Place in Chinatown. Named after Chinese American USF basketball star Willie Woo Wong, the park serves one of San Francisco’s densest neighborhoods to this day. An approximately half-acre space that includes two sand-floor playgrounds as well as tennis and volleyball courts.
