Are your pools indoors?

Our swimming pools are all enclosed outdoor pools. The water from Sprayground is not heated.

What’s the pool temperature?

The temperature varies and, depending on a number of factors, can feel warmer or colder. We strive to keep the pool of the Ed Center at 80 degrees and 82 degrees of PH Aquatic Park.

Are classes canceled when it’s raining?

Generally, classes will be held during inclement weather.  However, the pool will be closed and classes canceled if there is thunder or lightning.

Are your pools ADA accessible?

Yes, ADA is open to our pools and services.  The pool at Ed Center is equipped with a chairlift and accessible stairs.  We have a chair lift for the Dive Pool and Training Pool at PH Aquatic Park.  Our staff will be more than happy to show you how to use the lifts if you need help.  Additionally, all facilities have open ADA stalls for the showers and bathrooms.

Are there showers?

Yes, at both facilities, we have showers. The toilets are on deck at the Ed Center. The showers are in the changing rooms at the PH Aquatic Park.

Are there changing rooms?

We have change rooms with showers and toilets at PH Aquatic Park. There are bathrooms adjacent to the pool at the Ed Center Pool and in a separate area, there is an adult changing room.

Are pets allowed at the pool?

In Aquatics Facilities, dogs and other species are not allowed due to regulations of the health department.  They allow specially trained ADA-qualified service animals to operate or perform a function for disabled people.  Animals with emotional support are not eligible for ADA and are not allowed in the building.
