South Park is a small urban park and eponymous neighborhood in San Francisco, California, with 0.85 acres (0.34 ha) of public ground. The area centers around the tiny, oval-shaped park and South Park Street, which runs around it. Second, Third, Bryant, and Brannan streets form the southern boundary of South Park, while Dinwiddie Street forms the eastern boundary.

The park is encircled by Second Street to the north, Third Street to the south, Bryant Street to the southeast, and Brannan Street to the northeast. South Park was not an official city name until shortly after California became free of Mexico in 1849.
