Enjoy the beautifully refurbished Pleasant Oaks Park (11 acres) with 5 completely refurbished softball fields, new full-size soccer fields, and shaded dugouts with warm-up bullpens on each side. Also on display are 3 expanded batting cages and a play area for preschool ages 2 to 5. This park has several picnic areas available for reservation, including a new large shaded group picnic site. Paved walking route compliant with ADA. There are tables and fountains for drinking as well.

It is a well-maintained park. It is also very much baseball-centric with multiple baseball fields, batting cages, etc (as mentioned above). There is also a large grass field that could be used for a variety of other activities, including soccer. Even if you’re not sporty, you would still like this local park and the beautiful spaces it offers for people of all ages to participate in physical fitness activities.

There are several picnic sites with 7-8 tables each and two of them are beautifully lined with massive shade structures. There are also lots of water fountains, garbage/recycling bins, and lots of tables and benches for group and individual picnickers. There are also toilets and a snack shack, but I guess they can only be used during baseball games. There’s a small playground and it seems there are plans to upgrade it.

Located on 2 Santa Barbara Road in Pleasant Hill, just across the street from Pleasant Hill Middle School, Pleasant Oaks Park will be the perfect spot for young people residing near this park who want to enjoy football, baseball, or softball in state-of-the-art facilities, and this park will also be a major upgrade for parents as it will be safer and easier for parents to find their kids afterward.
